This BC | B22 | Bayonet Cap Brass Safety Switched Lampholder 1/2" Entry 91071 is an excellent option for sprucing up a sentimental table lamp or light fitting of your own design. With the sliding bar switch on the connection unit, it adds a beautiful timeless feature to the light fitting.
Comes in 4 parts comprising of the cap which is the section that screws onto the fixing of the light fitting (or cord grip for a pendant lamp) the centre connection unit where you will connect the live (Brown) and neutral (Blue) and Earth (Yellow and Green) then the top section which will screw over the connection unit and onto the cap. Not to forget the locking ring (Thicker Ring) that holds the cap and skirt together and the shade ring the clamp the shade (Thinner Ring).
The BC | B22 | Bayonet Cap Brass Safety Switched Lampholder 1/2" Entry 91071 is also a Safer Switcher lampholder, meaning that you cannot turn the lampholder on without the bulb being inserted. This is a brilliant safety feature to have when you may have younger children and the elderly who may be prone to accidents.

This Lampholder must be wired with a 3-core flex that provides the correct earth connection.
Please Note: This 1/2″ lampholder will NOT fit the 1/2″ BSP gas pipe, BSP gas pipe is alot larger in diameter and is a totally different thread style.
